What is Rubato?
Rubato—also known as Rubato Plan—is an adaptive budgeting and cash-flow planning app for people with irregular income or changing expenses. It connects bills, debts, goals, investments, and upcoming obligations, then identifies the next actions that matter.
What is included in Rubato Free?
Rubato has a $0 Free plan with no trial required. It includes manual account, balance, and transaction entry; private CSV, OFX, and QFX bank or credit-card statement imports; rules-based guidance; seven months of visible transaction history; and JSON data export.
Do I need to connect a bank to use Rubato?
No. On the Free plan, you can create accounts and enter transactions manually or select a CSV, OFX, or QFX statement export to import. Rubato reads the statement file in your browser and saves only the transactions you confirm, not the source file.
What if my income changes every month?
That is exactly the kind of financial life Rubato is designed to support. The plan can adjust as new income arrives or expectations change.
Does Rubato tell me what to do?
Rubato surfaces a prioritized set of next actions, explains why each action matters, and shows how confident the recommendation is.
Does Rubato replace a financial advisor?
Rubato is a financial-planning tool, not a substitute for professional tax, legal, investment, or individualized financial advice when that expertise is needed.
Can I explore the product?
Yes. The public demo uses fictional data, requires no account or bank connection, and does not save anything.
